Navigating the Art of Multitasking

"If you chase two rabbits, you will not catch either one." ~Russian Proverb

Hey there, fellow creatives! 🎨 This week, as I was diving back into The One Thing by Gary Keller, I had one of those "aha" moments. Picture this: me, knee-deep in my "30-Days to Your Creative Business" blog series and daydreaming about my next big pattern collection, thinking I had this multitasking thing down pat.

Then, bam! Gary Keller hits me with some wisdom, and that Russian proverb he mentioned? It really got me thinking. I realized that maybe trying to spin too many plates in my creative circus wasn't making me more creative; it was spreading me too thin.

I kicked off the year with "CREATE" in big, bold letters as my New Year's resolution, full of zest and determination. Fast forward to now, not even halfway through the year, and I found myself straying from the path. My grand plans of churning out art non-stop had to take a backseat as I poured everything into the "30-Days" blog series.

But guess what? Today, I hit a major milestone by wrapping up the "30-Days to Your Creative Business" series, and boy, am I proud! It's turned into this awesome resource that's out there for anyone, anytime—a true win in my book as a creative entrepreneur.

Reflecting on what Keller said and mulling over my own journey, I'm charged up to jump back into my art with a fresh pair of eyes. It's time to zero in on my "one thing" - diving headfirst into art and surface design with all the focus and passion I've got.

So, to all you amazing creatives trying to dance the fine line between your passions and the never-ending to-do list of life, I've got a question: How do you keep your creative fires burning bright while life tries to pull you in a million directions? Have you found your "one thing," that passion that keeps you going, or are you chasing after it like I am?

Here's to a future where we not only hone in on our focus but also rock the creative process on our terms. Let's keep sharing, inspiring, and lifting each other up on this wild ride towards doing what we love. Cheers to cultivating our creativity and beyond! ✨🎉
